My name is Asma Hasan and I’m a graphic designer residing in Qatar.
Apart from design, I love learning about ‘things’ in general, so I’m often
found googling answers to obscure questions out of curiosity—for example,
‘what is the etymology for the word hand’ or, ‘how are airplane cabins
pressurized’. I find the quirky and unusual aspects of the world intriguing
and enjoy reading about a range of topics including technology, psychology,
film, etcetera. When designing, I like to incorporate a level of motion or
interaction for added effect, fun, and memorability. Passionate about storytelling,
I let my designs reflect my interests by playfully engaging with complex ideas.
